Questions hospital owners ask us
What does a NABH consultant do?
A NABH consultant assesses your facility against the NABH standard for your category, writes the policies and procedures with your team, trains staff, sets up committees and quality indicators, runs a mock assessment, prepares the online application and supports you through NABH's desktop and on-site assessments until non-conformities are closed.
Is NABH accreditation mandatory in India?
No general law makes it mandatory for private facilities, but it affects revenue: under CGHS rates revised from 13 October 2025, non-NABH hospitals are paid 15% below the NABH base rate, and AB-PMJAY pays 10% and 15% incentives for NABH entry-level certification and full accreditation.
How long does it take to get NABH accredited?
NABH requires at least three months of implementation before you apply. In our experience small facilities reach entry-level certification in 4 to 6 months from the first gap analysis, and full accreditation takes 6 to 12 months.
What does NABH accreditation cost?
NABH's own fees start at ₹11,000 for a 2-year AYUSH centre certification and ₹1,000 + ₹10,000 for a small dental clinic, and go up to ₹40,000 application plus ₹2,00,000 a year for a hospital of up to 100 beds (all plus 18% GST). Our NABH consultancy starts from ₹1.5 lakh, depending on size and readiness.
Do you work outside Rajasthan?
Yes. We support hospitals and clinics in every state, combining on-site visits for gap analysis, training and mock assessment with remote support for documentation. Our clients are spread across more than 15 states.
Which NABH programme is right for an Ayurveda hospital?
An Ayurveda hospital with 10 or more sanctioned beds can apply for full NABH AYUSH hospital accreditation; one with at least 5 in-patient beds can start with the NABH entry-level AYUSH hospital certification. A Panchakarma clinic without beds and with at least two therapy tables uses the Panchakarma clinic programme.
