The eight stages
1. Eligibility call (free)
We confirm which NABH programme fits your facility — bed or chair count, system of medicine, services — and give you NABH's current fees, our fee and a realistic timeline. If NABH is not the right step yet (for example, a hospital still within its first six months), we say so.
2. Gap analysis
A structured review against every applicable standard and objective element, plus an audit of all statutory licences. Deliverable: a gap report scored on NABH's own 1–5 scale, with priorities, owners and dates.
3. Documentation
Policies, SOPs, formats, registers and committee terms written around how your teams actually work. We do not hand over a copied manual — assessors interview staff, and documents nobody follows fail. Deliverable: a controlled document set with a master list.
4. Training and implementation
Department-wise training for doctors, nurses, technicians, housekeeping and front office; committees (quality, infection control, pharmacy and therapeutics, safety) set up and minuted; quality indicators defined and collected. NABH requires at least three months of implementation before you apply. Deliverable: training records, minutes and the first indicator reports.
5. Internal audit and mock assessment
We audit like an assessor — patient tracers, staff interviews, record reviews — and score you on NABH's scale, including the rule that every Core element must reach 4 out of 5 in the 6th Edition. Deliverable: a mock assessment report and a closure plan.
6. Application
We prepare and file the online application, documents and self-assessment with you, and respond to NABH's desktop assessment queries.
7. Assessment support
We prepare your team for the on-site assessment and help you close any non-conformities with evidence within the deadline.
8. After accreditation
Surveillance assessments check that the system kept running. We offer retainer support for indicator reviews, internal audits, staff induction and renewal.
Why our method works
- The lead consultant does the work. Dr. Ashutosh Sharma runs the gap analysis, training and mock assessment himself rather than passing you to a junior.
- Specialist depth in AYUSH and dental. These programmes have their own standards and pitfalls; general hospital consultants often miss them.
- Licences first. We clear statutory gaps before documentation, so your application is never stopped by an expired NOC.
- Plain language for staff. Ward staff learn what to do and why, not jargon to memorise for the assessor.
Fees
Our NABH projects start from ₹1.5 lakh, government empanelment from ₹50,000 and licences or registrations from ₹25,000. The final quote depends on programme, size and readiness, and NABH's fees and GST are paid directly to NABH. Ask for a quote.
Frequently asked questions
What does a NABH consultant charge?
Fees depend on the programme, size and how ready your facility is. Our NABH projects start from ₹1.5 lakh, government empanelment from ₹50,000 and licences or registrations from ₹25,000. NABH's own fees and GST are separate. We give a written quote after a free eligibility call.
Do you visit the hospital or work remotely?
Both. We visit for the gap analysis, staff training and the mock assessment, and support documentation, committee meetings and indicator reviews remotely in between. On-site support is available in every state.
What do you need from our side?
A management that backs the project, one person who can act as quality coordinator, staff time for training, and willingness to fix what the gap analysis finds. Accreditation is earned by your team; our job is to make the path clear and short.
